Lodge on Jutland Farm 1Entry/Object ID
1995.001.2270Description
3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of The Lodge, which was on the Jutland Farm property. It was a two story gable roofed brick house with a lower two story clapboard addition at one gable end. In this view, there was an outside end brick chimney on the left gable end. No windows were visible on the wall. The brick work suggested that the roofline may have been changed from a gambrel roof to a gable roof. The roof was shingled. On the second floor there were three double hung windows visible. There was a deep covered porch on the first floor; a door was barely visible and maybe a window. In the addition there were small windows on the second floor and paired windows on the first floor. The house was surrounded by a white picket fence. Each picket had a diamond shape on the top, so the fence looked like hundreds of lighted candles.
