Description

2 3/4"h x 4 3/8"w sepia tone photo of Louise Murphy of Jamesville in Frederick County. She had brown hair and a nice smile. She was wearing a long sleeved white blouse and a locket on a long chain around her neck. Her skirt may have been striped. She was standing in front of a fence around a garden? with large buildings behind her--perhaps a school. Handwritten in dark ink on the lower right corner, "With love Louise." It would be interesting to know how she and Mr. Hayden met. ********************************** Text on verso: in pencil "602"
