1 folder ; 14 3/4" x 9 5/8" The document in this folder is Jesse Thompson's promise to pay James Boothe. Mr. Boothe loaned Mr. Thompson six hundred forty three pounds and ten shillings early in the 1800s. If it was half paid off before January 1804, that amount would not accrue interest. Mr. Thompson could not manage that, so he had to pay interest on the loan. An attempt at a transcript is included.
