February 9, 1870 I think the document should say "received by" since it appears that Simon P. Graves was given several animals and a bedstead and feather bed for the services he rendered after he turned twenty-one. Lewis Graves signed the document and it was witnessed by Thomas H. Fowler. Lewis Graves was Simon's guardian.
