1 folder ; 14 3/4" x 9 5/8" This folder has store records for several people, but especially Lewis Graves. 1. No date The account of Simon P. Graves with either W.S. Blakiston or W.A. Padgett. Payment of $9.61 had to be made in 60 days. 2. March 9, no year Bettie Boothe bought a pair of shoes from Loker, Abell, & Edelen, possibly in the 1850s. 3. December 23, 1838 Bettie Booth paid $4.13 on her store account with Durant & Abell. 4. May 11, 1850 Part of Lewis Graves store bill with William R. Morgan. On the back it shows that Graves paid his bill with a draft on James Briscoe & Co. to satisfy the account. 5. July 13, 1854 Leonard T. Booth paid his store account with Richard [Jones & Company?] 6. August 31, 1856 Bettie Booth's account with Lucretia Ford who was a milliner or dressmaker 7. September 13, 1856 This small piece of paper said Captain L. B. Bond bought something for Lewis Graves at Goodrich & Bean in Baltimore. 8. November 29,1859 Lewis Graves account with W. T. A. Reeder. 9. September 1, 1861 Lewis Graves settled his account with John Welch & Sons 10. Fall 1864 Lewis Graves account with J. C. Herbert & Co. store, including a receipt for full payment in December. [Box 2]
