5 7/16"w x 3 1/2"h postcard with a horizontal orientation. The black and white image is 3 1/8"h, leaving a small space at the bottom for the title and publication details. The viewer was standing near the courthouse. The unpaved street was lined with houses and large trees. Many trees had their trunks fenced to deter nibbling horses, etc. There was either a sidewalk or a path on each side of the street. There is a power pole with a transformer on the right and at least one street light. On the verso was the typical center divider between the mailing address and the message. This card was addressed to Miss Lucie Loker in Valley Lee, without a message. In the upper left corner was the eagle, shield, arrows, and olive branch all in brown ink. The card had not been posted. It was published by L. A. Jones & Son.Collection
