Black and white photograph of two women and two men. One of the women is Mary Genevieve Wathen, the other three are unidentified. They are all standing side-by-side (two women in the middle, men on either side) outside in front of a cedar tree, with some bushes and small posts in the background. All four people appear to be in their twenties or early thirties. Mary Wathen is the only person in the photograph looking at the camera and smiling. The others are either looking to the right or left; however, all face front and hold their arms at their sides.

Mary Wathen's hairstyle may resemble one from the 1940s. Her hair is light in color and is fashioned in such a way that there are four or five ringlets on the crown of her head, a large, light-colored bow at the back of her hair (slightly visible from the front) and the remainder of her hair is worn down. Her long-sleeved blouse has slightly-puffy sleeves with a tighter band ending around her wrists. The blouse appears to be striped (possibly gray in color), with a white, laced collar, and four dark-colored buttons down the front. She is wearing a skirt, which is dark in color, has buttons down the front, a wide belt, comes up to her ribs, and ends just below her knees. She is wearing white high-heeled shoes.
The unidentified woman in the photograph has dark hair, which is worn down, yet swept back, and appears to end at her shoulders. She wears a long-sleeved, dark-colored blouse with buttons down the front and a collar. Her skirt is light in color, flares out slightly, has buttons down the front, comes up to her ribs, and ends at her knees. She is wearing white high-heeled shoes.
The man to Mary's left has dark hair, and is wearing a white, button-down shirt with short sleeves (the sleeves are also rolled up). He wears dark-colored, pleated pants with a light-colored belt and light-colored shoes.
The man to the right side of the unidentified woman has dark hair, and is wearing a white, button-down shirt with short sleeves (the sleeves are also rolled up). He wears light-colored pants with a light-colored belt and light-colored shoes.Collection
