1 folder ; 9 5/8" x 11 7/8" 1982 Today's Home Builds Tomorrow's World / researched and written by Jeanette Green. The book was begun in 1979 at the request of the president of the Maryland Council. It is very detailed, with chapters on the beginnings of the organization, the Council, events sponsored by the Council, affiliations with similar organizations, and information on all the presidents of the council from 1938 to 1982. There is an addendum on separate sheets to bring the information to 1995. No date One of the state wide projects undertaken by the Council was documenting all quilts made in Maryland. Reference is made to "pledge cards" which were not popular. April 1980 County by county response to Pledge-A-Member contest April 29, 1987 Spring meeting program in Frostburg March/April 1988 Photocopy of a notice about the 50th anniversary of the Maryland Extension Homemakers Council birthday party. May 2, 1988 Dull gold cover for the 50th anniversary luncheon at Hunt Valley. There was lots of music and a presentation of a state quilt. A song sheet was included in the program, folded twice. October 10-12, 1989 Fall meeting program in Frederick 1990 or later Council's standing rules on recognizing a club's 50th anniversary Flyer for the October meeting in Solomons, Md. October 3, 1990 Trifold program for a banquet meeting at the Holiday Inn on Solomons Island. The program included a list of 50 year members from Baltimore, Carroll, Calvert, Harford, and Queen Anne's Counties. July 8, 1991 Memo from the Family Issues coordinator talking about the child care initiative. This was driven by the organization's concern for the children of working mothers.
