Scope and Content

1 folder ; (9 5/8" x 11 3/4") This material contains information and correspondence relative to Mr. Beitzell's service in his first full year as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Trust. Errors in an inventory of St. Mary's County historic sites continued to be an issue. There are several letters adding county properties to the National Register of Historic Places. The Andrew Jackson Spalding house in Leonardtown came up for sale and the Trust tried to assist in its sale to a preservation-minded buyer. Near the end of the year, meetings were underway on the future of the Charlotte Hall School.
