This material contains information and correspondence relative to Mr. Beitzell's service as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Trust. The Trust had earlier agreed to the use of Charlotte Hall School property as a veterans' facility and there is a little correspondence about archaeological resources on the site. The preservation community was very disappointed by the complete lack of preservation dollars in the federal budget. There is some material about projects at Saint Mary's City, including the Brome-Howard House. There is continued correspondence with officers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station about the cultural resources survey on the base and at Webster Field. There is a 1982 list of National Historic Register sites in Saint Mary's County in this folder.Collection
