11"h x 14"w black and white photo of Mattapany on Cedar Point. This was taken when the house had been remodeled. The entire house was painted white. Three dormers were added to the roof and a two story brick addition was added to one gable end, wrapping the double chimneys. There were five six over six double hung windows with dark shutters on the second floor. On the first floor, there was a small central porch five steps above the ground with two six over six double hung windows with dark shutters on each side. The addition had a hyphen and a rectangular section at the end of the hyphen. That portion had a hipped roof. On the second floor, there was a small window in the hyphen, a larger window facing the driveway, and two windows on the wall paralleling the gable end. On the first floor, there was a small window in the hyphen, a larger window with dark shutters facing the driveway, a small central porch and two small windows on the wall paralleling the gable end of the main house. The small porch was five steps above the ground. A one car garage was behind the house. There was a curved drive in front of the house and around to the garage. At the bottom of the photo was a panel of text: "Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Md. Quarters 'A'. Rear view. Contractor-Cummins Constr. Co. & Riggs-Distler & Co. Contract No.--5363 Date 7-29-42 PW#565"
