Contains missives from Roy N. Staten and the Maryland Democratic Party Headquarters to members of the 1978-1982 Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland (DCC) (letter dated 09.29.1978). Notification of fall meeting date for the committee on October 12, 1978 with the agenda for the meeting. The second letter is a congratulations to the newly elected Chairsperson for a local Democratic Central Committee, reminders of their duties, and where to send any updated information about the committee. The letter was sent by Miss Chipper Debuskey. The third letter was sent on October 30, 1978 from Rosalie S. Abrams and urges the local DCC's to insure a large voter turnout for the Democratic Party. The fourth letter is from Debuskey and is a checklist for material the Democratic Party HQ has or has not received from the local St. Mary's County DCC and a reminder to update with new information.
