3 1/2"h x 5 1/8"w black and white photo of the Mechanicsville Bank. It is a small brick building with a hipped roof with a pediment over the door, a gable roof and pediment over the drive-through, and a colonial cupola on the roof peak. It had a central entrance: an entry door, a long single light window on the right, and a rectangular transom window. Below the pediment over the porch it said "Mechanicsville." On each side of the door was a large nine over nine double hung shuttered window with draperies on the inside. Over the left window was a large plastic banner with the text obscured by reflecting light. There is a brick raised flower bed along the walls that had only shrubs in it. The handicapped ramp was on the left. On the right corner of the building was an historical marker. There were three and possibly four windows on the left wall. The drive-through was in the middle of that wall. The roof was supported by two pairs of posts and there were round bollards near the posts. There was a flagpole at the edge of the pavement. Across the parking lot on the right was a 7-11. In front of the bank was a large sign; the top rectangle has a tree symbol and "Maryland National Bank" in three lines of text. There are three additional lines of text below that, but the only word I can read is "Most."
