Photographer may be standing in the road or across the road looking toward the front of the chapel. The service is just over. There are several people on the steps of the building and a few have already come to the parking area. There are automobiles on the right and left and carriages on the right and in the center of the photo. The church is a light color, with a shed roof over the enclosed entry and a rose window above. There is a bell tower toward the back on the left that has a dark door at its base. I think there are four tall windows on the left wall. The building may be Italianate or Spanish in flavor, but it is difficult to see it through the trees. There may be grave stones on the left. Text on verso: "Medley [sic] Neck Church St. Mary's Co. Md." in dark blue ball point and stamped in black ink "2 30."Collection
