In various sized books, there are minutes of shareholders meetings, directors meetings, and executive committee meetings. The shareholders meetings were short. The shareholders chose the Board of Directors and those Directors chose the Executive Committee members. The Directors examined and decided on all loan applications. Some Directors held office for decades. Sadly, many meetings ended with a paragraph on the order of "Further discussion was held on items of interest to the bank," which would also be of interest to us now.Collection
