Description

3 3/8"h x 4 3/4""w black and white photo of Mount Calvary United Methodist Church. The rectangular single story brick building had a gable metal roof with the entrance in the gable end. There were many colors of brick, randomly laid. A low four sided belfry was at the roof peak. The belfry had a white pyramid bell cover and a cross on top. The single entry door was centered on this elevation three steps above the ground. There were no windows in the elevation. The side facing the photographer had a small six over six double hung window near the corner and three tall narrow six over six double hung windows evenly spaced along the rest of the wall. There was a small addition on the back of the building with an entry door two steps above the ground. There was a circular gravel driveway in front of the building and a sign near the road with hours of service. Two huge oak trees were on the opposite side of the building. ********************************** Text on verso: in black ink "Mt.
