3 3/8"h x 5 3/4"w sepia tone photo of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Graves and a bridesmaid on their 50th wedding anniversary, date unknown. The group is standing in front of a house with clapboard siding. One four light window is barely visible. Mr. Graves is between the two women. He looks like he is up for the occasion. He has his arm over the shoulder of a small woman on his left, which I assume to be the wife. He had white hair, no glasses, wore a dark suit with a vest or sweater vest, and a colored shirt and dark tie. His wife had white hair pulled back tight, glasses, and a dress that may have had a plaid pattern and a dark long sleeved sweater with a belt at the waist. The woman on Mr. Graves' right was taller than the wife. She also had white hair, pulled back and parted in the middle. She had on a white stock tie blouse, and either a sweater or dress that had some sort of net inset at the shoulder. What do we read into her expression? Was he the one who got away? All the people appear to have worked very hard all their lives.
