Mr. and Mrs. Court in the fieldEntry/Object ID
2008.002.0004Description
The Courts were selected to be photographed for a USDA Extension Service filmstrip about self-sufficiency on the farm--grow and preserve your own food to obviate the need for cash. This is a black and white photo.
Photo 3. Mr. and Mrs. Court in the field. Mrs. Court is on the left, controlling the dog. Mr. Court is holding the plow while pointing to the right. The horse is standing quietly. Mr. Court has only plowed part of one furrow, so he may only be demonstrating for the camera. There are houses and outbuildings dimly visible behind them. A power pole and its support are in the middle distance.Collection
