Sepia tone portrait oriented photo 4 3/4"h x 3 1/2"w mounted on heavy umber/gray board. Mrs. Hyatt and Clara are seated on the porch steps at Porto Bello. A brick wall and a window with dark shutters are visible behind them. One of the porch posts is to their right; there is a flagpole support on the post. Mrs. Hyatt had on a dark, fairly flat hat, and what was probably a felted wool double breasted coat. A blanket was spread across her lap. She had the collar of the coat turned up around her face and looked as though she were freezing. Clara, Jr., seated next to her, had on a dark hat with a light colored scarf tied over it, a double breasted wool coat, and heavy leggings that extended over her shoes. She appeared oblivious to the cold.
