5 3/4"h x 3 3/8"w sepia tone photo of Mrs. Nelson. She was standing facing the camera with her arms at her sides in front of a crepe myrtle tree. She had a rather round face, dark hair that covered her ears, and wore glasses. The top part of her dress gave the appearance of a shawl with wide white stripes on the edge. It was tied in the middle of her chest and had quite long tails that hung to her waist. The top appeared to have a large scallop at the bottom. The skirt may have had a slight A-line; the photo is too washed out to be sure. She had a necklace of rather large white beads close to her neck.
