Mule at Stud TuesdayEntry/Object ID
1956.001.0064Description
3 1/2"h x 5 5/8"w sepia tone photograph of an alert mule being handled by a young African American man in a cap, partly open shirt, and jeans. The man had his right hand on the bridle of the animal and a rope held loosely in his left hand. Both man and beast were intently watching something happening to the right--perhaps they were waiting their turn to show the mule to prospective buyers. There was a clapboard building with one two over two double hung window level with the man's face. On the left were a car and a truck.
