4 3/4"h x 3 3/8"w black and white photo of a shield shaped wood support for an elaborate silver shield mounted on it. The upper "wings" appeared to be three dimensional rolls and the center of the piece was domed. A sunburst? motif was at the center top. Text: "Constantia et Virtute 1915 J.C.F. Brotemarkle F.W. Dodge D.S. Higgins L. Littman F.B. Smith" There is rather simple scroll work around the edge of the piece.
