5 3/8" h x 2 3/4"w sepia tone photo of Nettie Blackistone. She was seated straight on to the camera, but was looking to her left. She had simply dressed dark hair parted on the side. She had on a top with a dark lace overlay and long net sleeves that extended onto the tops of her hands. She had on a light colored skirt with a net overlay and a dark ribbon down the side seam. She was holding a stem of flowers in her lap. In the lower right corner of the board was the studio statement in white ink: "W. H. Stalee Washington, D.C."
