On the right of his photo is part of a column about the Maryland state budget. September 27, 1903 Long article in the Sunday Baltimore Sun called "A defense of Claiborne." November 20, 1925 Incomplete article in Saint Mary's Beacon about the election of officers for the Baltimore Auxiliary of the Pilgrims of St. Mary's. May 19, 1933 Baltimore Sun article about the blessing of the Father Andrew White memorial on May 22, 1933. May 19, 1933 Saint Mary's Beacon notice that the First National Bank of St. Mary's expected to reopen soon. The closing was because of the national bank holiday earlier in the spring. after October 23, 1933 Reprinted in the Beacon? a letter from Senator J. Allan Coad to the watermen on the eastern shore about hand dredging oysters, but it was not complete. November 3, 1933 Photo in the Saint Mary's Beacon of a young woman playing the part of a member of the Junior Red Cross. The organization was very active in Saint Mary's County during WW I. January 28, 1934 Article in the Baltimore Sun about Carthagena, West St. Mary's, and Porto Bello. Carthagena was a falling down wreck in 1933 when it was purchased by the Tercentenary Committee so its bricks could be used to build the replica statehouse in St. Mary's City. January 30, 1934 Article in the Times Crescent of La Plata about the opening of the Tercentenary celebrations on St. Clement's Island. This was the text of Governor Ritchie's address.
