3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of one of the rooms in the Newtown Manor House, residence of the Jesuits for many years. The room was panelled to the ceiling in a light color. The molding at the ceiling was a darker color. There was a hanging light fixture that had room for three bulbs, but there was only one installed. On the panelled wall, there was one four panel door over in the corner. The wall next to it was wall papered. Against the panelled wall there was a black wood stove with a white front and a tall white backsplash with a small shelf at the top. Above that was a long shelf covered in oilcloth. There was a clock, a few small kitchen items and knickknacks on that shelf. There was a bushel basket next to the stove. Across from the stove was a kitchen table and chairs with glassware and eating utensils waiting for use.
