Description

This is an exterior shot of a fancy abode called Northwood Hall in England. It was owned by the Pickersgill-Cunliffe family from which Hope's mother belonged. The group of people standing out front are Mabel, Katherine, Mary and Evelyn Pickersgill-Cunliffe. On the right side of the picture you can see the Observatory. The part of the building it's connected to has English ivy entirely covering the visible side. With parts of the front of Northwood Hall also covered in ivy. The ladies themselves stand on a nicely manicured lawn. Circa 1897.
