Black and white 3 1/2"h x 5 3/4"w photo of Notley Hall. This is a story and a half gable roof house with double outside end chimneys on the gable end. There is a large shed roof dormer on the right roof. Two tall narrow windows are visible on the first floor. On the brick gable end, there are black dots that may indicate supports for the floor of a now departed building. There is either a shuttered or bricked over opening in the upper left eave. There is a wire fence between the photographer and the building. A man is standing near the porch with his back to the camera. The photographer's? car is under a tree. Beyond the house is a large wood? pile. Mr. Fenwick's text on the scrapbook page, "One small wing is all that is left of this mansion that at one time was the mansion of Governor Thomas Notley of Maryland."
