Water color by Father Stephen Tushak of Notley Hall, Chaptico, Md. It is a spring scene. The main building is a two and a half story red brick, brown hip and gambrel-roofed structure. It has two interior corbel-capped chimneys lined up with the edges of the porch. There are story and a half brick wings on each end of the main block. There is a white triangular pediment with a round window capping recessed front porches on the first and second floor. Each porch is supported by four round pillars. The upper porch has a white railing. There are six steps to the walkway. On the first floor, there are two nine over twelve double hung windows on each side of the porch. Each of these windows is finished with a brick arch. There are two double- ung nine over nine windows on each side of the second floor porch. In addition, there are a window and door visible in each porch. On the visible end of the house are two windows which may provide light for an attic. The brick addition on the visible end of the main block has a gabled roof parallel to that of the main house. There is a pair of inside end chimneys which are quite close together--the roof peak between them looks like a small inverted V. There are two dormers capped by triangular white pediments and a garret window on the end. On the lower floor are two double-hung nine over nine windows with brick arches over them and green shutters. This same pattern is followed by the addition at the other end of the house, except there is a single stack corbeled outside end chimney. Beyond this addition is a story and a half gabled roof white building. There are two dormers in the roof and two windows flanking a center door on the first floor. There is an outside end chimney on the far end of this building. A few steps from the twin chimney end of the house are two square white buildings. The one closest to the house has a pyramid roof with the chimney coming right out of the top of the pyramid. There is one small window with green shutters. The other building has a hip roof and an outside end chimney on the side close to the viewer. There is also a small window with green shutters. A short walkway leads from the front of the house to a circular drive. White garden urns delineate the step to the walk.
