This page is numbered 72. William Frank Ford was elected Sheriff of the county on November 12, 1879, took the oath and declared his belief in the Christian religion in early December. A note below and to the left of the oath says, "Tax $20 paid." J. Frank Ford, Circuit Court clerk, certified the oath-taking. A photocopy of the piece and a transcription are included.Collection
