3 1/2"h x 5"w color photo of story and a half Ocean Hall taken when it was owned by the Blackistone family. The steep gable roof had an inside end chimney on each end. In this view, there were three gabled-roofed dormers with six over six windows. There were two two over six windows in the gable end, second level of the house, positioned near the eaves to make room for the chimney stack. There were remnants of white paint on the brick wall. There was a deep hip roofed wraparound porch with graceful white pillars, six bays on the long wall and four bays on the gable end. Under the porch roof, there were four twelve over sixteen double hung windows with dark shutters on the long side and two of the same type, perhaps with a door on the right, on the gable end. There was a center entry door on the long wall. A single story addition on the far end was just barely visible. It was a handsome building.
