Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of an old story and a half house near Compton. This view is of one gable end with a pair of outside end chimneys. The roof slope includes a screened porch on the left. Between the chimney stacks on the upper story is one tall window and a screen door. The first step is a long one. The woodwork is painted in a contrasting color to outline the windows. On the first floor there is a door to the narrow end of the porch, an eight light horizontal window several feet off the ground, a window and a door between the chimneys and a fifteen light window on the near corner. All the openings are outlined in a contrasting color. A picket fence is between the camera and the house. There are many trees.
