3 1/2"h x 3"w black and white photo of the front of the Old Jail before it was renovated. It was used as office space for the County Welfare Board. The building had a hipped roof with an overhang and an inside end brick chimney with a corbel on the left end of the building. There were gutters on the eaves and hooks spaced along the edge of the roof. The building was a light colored stucco. On the second floor there were three six over six double hung windows with dark shutters. On the first floor, there was a center door flanked by the same windows and shutters as were on the second floor. The doorway was framed in vertical fluted molding and had a plain lintel. The electric lines were strung on the outside of the building to each window. There was dirt patches and some damage to the stucco near the base of the building. There was a sidewalk across the front of the building and a pipe fence between the building and the grounds of the Courthouse. I-beams and re-bar matting rolls were piled on the Courthouse lawn.
