3 1/2"h x 5"w black and white photograph of Our Lady's Chapel in Medley's Neck. The person in the photo was Father William Stanton, S.J. This was a side view of the chapel. The building was a brick rectangle with a simple gable roof. There was one sixteen over eight double hung window in the second floor gable end of the chapel. There was a wooden tower on the gable end that appears to be newer than the building. There were three twelve over nine double hung windows evenly spaced along the long wall of the first floor. All the windows were open. Each window had dark shutters. The roof had a small brick chimney above the left window. There was a dark gutter the entire length of the building with a large downspout on each end. The tower had a pyramid roof. The belfry was open with lattice work on the visible sides. The rest of the tower was sheathed in plain planks laid in a straight horizontal manner. There was a door at the bottom on the visible side of the tower. There was a low wing on the back of the building with clapboard siding. The entire wing was not visible in the photo.
