Outdoor Mass at Leonard Hall School 1Entry/Object ID
2014.014.0010Description
3 1/2"h x 5 1/2"w card and 3 1/2"h x 6"w photo of outdoor masses at Leonard Hall School. The postcard and photo both show a large stage with a large, elaborate altar set up on the grounds in front of the school building. In the postcard, there were priests and altar boys actively serving Mass. The lower photo did not have any people present. The altar was elevated two more steps above the stage and had a very tall cross. An oriental carpet covered part of the stage. Both of the images were glued into an album, so any information on the verso is lost to us.
