Description

Sepia tone landscape oriented photo 4 1/2"w x 3 1/2"h. This was a view from the lawn of Porto Bello of oyster boats out on the Saint Mary's River. There is also a bugeye with lowered sails. It is tempting to think of the bugeye as the buy boat for all the smaller fry. Judging by the bare trees, this was taken during the winter. Text on top edge: "Oystering, St. Mary's River" on the verso in blue fountain ink: "Taken at Porto Bello"
