One 5"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photograph of a young paratrooper. He appeared to be sitting sideways on a chair with his left arm over the back. He looked straight into the camera. He had dark hair and eyes and was of rather slight build. He had on a garrison cap of likely khaki with dark trim. His khaki shirt had long sleeves, but was open at the neck, revealing a white T-shirt. He had a collar button of crossed cannons for an artilleryman, but he also had a paratroopers pin above his pocket and a shoulder patch for the 11th Airborne Division, first activated in 1943.
