Description

This is the patent for America Felix Secundus, secured by Abraham Barnes when he combined five pieces of property into one large one. This document has been carefully mounted, its tears supported, and sandwiched between archival boards. It had spent most of its life folded with the identifying panel on the outside. The document itself is 26 3/4" wide by 13 7/8" high. The primary horizontal fold line was about 7 3/8" from the top of the document. The three large tears are on this line and there is text loss. The framing boards are 33 3/8" wide and 20 3/4" high. The boards are a cream color. There is a piece of ancient wax hanging from the bottom of the document.
