Description

The Courts were selected to be photographed for a USDA Extension Service filmstrip about self-sufficiency on the farm--grow and preserve your own food to obviate the need for cash. This is a black and white photo. Photo 16. Dr. Bean cooperated with the film project. Fred Court hands over two baskets of produce to pay the doctor's fee. Apples, eggs, canning jars, and carrots are readily identified in the baskets. I wonder if the doctor returned the baskets and jars later?
