Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of the story and a half Payne house near Morganza. This view shows the main building and a small addition on one gable end. Each portion of the building has a gable roof. The addition has a six over six window centered in the gable end, with an access panel above it in the roof peak. There are two steps up to a screen door on the long wall and another six over six window.
In the main building to the right of the outside end chimney near the roof peak is a two over two window. Two windows and a door are visible on the four bay porch. There is a bench on the porch and a small child. The porch appears to be supported on piles of rocks. Two dogs wander around the gable end of the addition.
