A brown wooden peg, 7 7/8" long with a diameter of 7/8" and tapered at one end, that Mr. Fenwick labeled as being from the steeple of the 1846 Saint Aloysius Church in Leonardtown. The peg has eight discernible sides, two of which are larger than the others and on opposite sides of the peg. On the flat end there is a little breakage that extends not quite 2" down the peg. Presumably Mr. Fenwick collected this item when the church was demolished in 196?.Collection
