3 3/8"h x 5"w black and white photo of Petherbridge house. It was a gable roofed two and a half story house with four steep dormer gables on the front elevation. There were outside end chimneys on each gable end, plus one just past the roof peak between two gables. Each dormer gable had a six over six window in the peak of the dormer. There were no visible windows in the near gable end. On the second floor there were six six over six double hung shuttered windows. On the first floor there was a small gable roof addition on the near gable end. It had two six over six double hung windows; one had its shutters closed and one had no shutters. On the gable end of the main house was a small six over six window crowded between the chimney and the corner of the house. A three bay shed roof porch extended from the edge of one dormer and under two more dormers to the edge of the last dormer. The windows on the first floor, beginning near the chimney, were a large six over six double hung shuttered window, a door just under the edge of the porch roof, another six over six double hung shuttered window, a door, another door, and one more shuttered window. It almost looked like a duplex. There were white picket fences that enclosed the house and the fields came right close to the yard. This is likely a picture of an older photo. The photographer and tripod are shadowed in the lower right corner.
