This is a professionally done half-shot photo of an eighteen year old Mary. She is seen here posing against what looks like a seat with her hands resting in front of her on the arm. Mary is wearing a dress that has tassels that go around her front and below her collar. The collar itself is white with a dark colored bow. It's difficult to make out the shape of her earrings but they almost look like anchors. At the bottom of the front to the photo is the name of the studio Elliot & Fry. The location is given as 55, Baker Street at Portman Square.
