Due to the quality of the copy of the photo there is a second one along with the first. This is a professionally done photo is a headshot of an eleven year old Mabel. Mabel is wearing a straw hat and dark colored dress with a small white collar with a bow tied around it,. The first version of the photo that has poor quality also has information written on the back. The second version is the one with much better quality to it.
On the back of the first version at the top someone wrote her name along with the month and year the picture was taken. Below that is the address of the studio 124, Terminus Road. Then in the center is the photographer's name D. C. Downie. Finally at the bottom is the town in which the studio was located at Eastbourne.
On the back of the second version in the top right corner someone wrote "13A".Collection
