These are three different editorials that Hope photocopied with each having a small tab with a bit of information in the top left corner of the page. The tab has the type of editorial, volume number, page number and date. All three are connected to George in various ways.
The first editorial is titled "Registration List of the Second Election District of Saint Mary's County". There are two lists; one for new voters and the other for dead or removed voters. George was one of the newly added voters for the district. The editorial is dated to October 21st, 1875.
The second editorial is titled "Put in the Box". It is a list of drawn individuals for jury duty of which George is one. Jury duty was for the March term of the circuit court of St. Mary's County. He is under the section for the second district. The editorial is dated to February 10th, 1887.
The third editorial is titled "Correspondence of the Beacon". The author Smith Jones wrote in to talk about a play that was done in St. Inigoes on Thanksgiving night. He gives a glowing review of not only the play but also of the supper as well. George was one of the male actors on stage. The editorial is dated to December 1st, 1887.Collection
