Photocopy of Pages from "Yorkshire West Riding"Entry/Object ID
2014.013.0120Description
A photocopy of an excerpt from "Yorkshire West Riding". Hope chose a portion from the book on Addingham as a man named Samuel Cunliffe Lister owned an estate there. It goes on to give note to the age of some of the buildings before mentioning Samuel. He was a very productive inventor and was also the first baron of Masham.
After the photocopies Hope also included a typed up history sheet on Addingham. It gives more of it's history, buildings and the fact that a Mrs. Mary Cunliffe gifted the church its rectory.Collection
