These are a series of photographs. Some of which are relatives or family friends of Elliot. All of which are black and white. Condition of photos range from decent to poor. Years look to range around late 1900s to mid 1910s.
The first set of photographs are of a young woman around the age of late teens to mid twenties.
1. A small photograph of two women outdoors and laying on the grass. One is in a white blouse with a dark skirt kneeling and she is the aforementioned young lady. The lady laying down is also wearing a white blouse with a dark skirt. Due to the condition of the photo it is hard to make out finer details. On the back someone wrote Georgie(?) and Boone's.
2. This is a torn postcard with the front having the young lady sitting in a studio. She is wearing a white dress with a rather silly, large hat. On the back the postcard is labelled as coming from Coney Island. It's unclear why it is torn.
3. The following photograph is a small one framed around a paper frame. The woman is wearing a dark colored coat with a white collar. Her hair is tied up as well. Below her picture is the studio name "Pickard". There is nothing written on the back.
4. This photograph has a front and back cover and a sheet of tissue paper in front of it. This photograph was very obviously taken professionally at a studio. It is a half-body shot with her wearing a white dress with a closed collar. She is wearing a necklace and has her hair done up. At the bottom of the photo is the name of the studio "Farrell & Edwards". The location was at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. On the following page someone wrote "Lest you forget -Staydy(?)"
The second set of photographs consist of various family members of Elliot's.
1. This photo appears to have been taken on a boat as water can be seen in the background. There are a lot of people all sitting together somewhat tightly. With most under a white pavilion. Some of them are looking at the cameraman while others seem to be conversing with one another. There is nothing written on the back.
2. The following photograph is of a stern-looking, elderly woman. She is sitting in a chair out in the yard with a fence seen behind her. She herself is wearing a black dress with a dark colored fur stole. On the back someone simply wrote "Grandma".
3. The next photo is of one man and two women standing outside beside a tree. On the back someone named the people as follows: Aunt Ida, Uncle Marshall and Mother. Marshall is off to the left, Aunt Ida is in the middle and off to the right is Mother. Marshall and Ida both appear to be in their late 50s to early 60s while Mother looks to be in her 80s.
4. The next photo is of two dogs outside in the yard looking at a tree off to the right. Judging by the bareness of the surrounding trees it looks to be winter time. The back says "For Marshall".Collection
