This is page four of a write-up on Hope's genealogical research on both the Pickersgills and a bit of the Cunliffes.
Page four starts off with his first child named William Cunliffe Pickersgill. William was the eldest son of John and Sophia. He was born on October 22, 1811 at Netherne Farm. During the 1830s it is noted that he went to America. It was there he met his wife whom he married on December 17th, 1835 in Baltimore. When he returned to America with his family he went on to buy Blendon Park in Kent. WIlliam died in 1891 at Netherne House in Surrey; while his wife Anna died the following year in 1892.
Near the bottom of page four John's next surviving child Sophia Pickersgill is listed. She was born in 1817 and on January 4th, 1844 she married Robert Rodger. Starting on page five her entry is finished up with the listing of her four children: William, Sophia, Robert and John.Collection
