3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w somewhat sepia tone photo of the ruin of the Piney Point Hotel, sometimes called Tolson's Hotel. The building was in bad shape, with most of its roof gone. What had been a gable roofed structure was two stories tall. There were three or four windows on the second floor of the gable end. Only one window was visible on the ground floor. On the long side of the building were fourteen windows, all with dark shutters, on the second floor. There were doors and windows on the first floor in an irregular pattern. The building appeared to have clapboard siding. Sand and sparse vegetation surrounded the building.
