Description

3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of the Piney Point Lighthouse. The conical whitewashed brick building has a metal railing around the walkway on the top and an eight-sided glass enclosure for the light. Next to the lighthouse is a four sided tapered building with a fog horn on the top. The light and fog signal served the Potomac River boatmen.
