2 3/8"h x 4 "w sepia tone photo pulled from a black page scrapbook. The photo appears to have been cut down from a larger picture. The photographer was standing on the deck of a steamer looking down at a considerable crowd. As the pier narrowed toward the shore, an overhead sign said, "Piney Point," so this is likely the hotel's landing. The women are in light colored long dresses and many of them are hatless. The men are mostly in dark suits with soft caps or boater hats. There are several small craft moored at the pier.
